Steppe Copper LLC has initiated, planned, designed, and managed Mongolia’s first powder metallurgy plant project of Steppe Metal Powder LLC.

Established in 2017, Steppe Metal Powder (SMP) is Mongolia’s first ever metal powder production plant. SMP produces high-grade water atomized copper and copper alloy powder sourced from Achit Ikht, a long-time member of the London Metal Exchange (LME). Our plant is considered one of the most modern and advanced in the region with a skilled workforce supported by industry experts from the UK and the EU.
